200 pages in a category

As you may have noticed, categories on answers wikis won't let you see more than 200 pages or subcategories on their category pages. See here for an example. On that page, as you can see, there are more than 200 subcategories and by default the first 200 in the alphabet are shown. There is also a button which says that it will let you see the next 200 subcategories. However, clicking that button does absolutely nothing, still showing those same first 200 subcategories. Another example here using pages. Well over 200 pages in that category on that wiki (as can be seen in numerous other spots, including most users contributions lists), yet it says there are only 200 answered questions and there is no way to see more. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

http://answers.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Categorylist?action=edit Add this to the wiki

http://answers.wikia.com/wiki/Template:NextPage?action=edit Also add this

Idk if it will remove the old category layout, but it should.

Could you elaborate more on this? Aside from {{Subcategorylist}} being also needed, I feel like I missed something else. When I added {{Answeredlist}} in the AQ cat, it moved the original layout to the right. True enough the (next 200) part is gone. But shouldn't the heading along with the questions under it be gone as well?

Hum, I'll get more information for that.

We had to remove the original list via CSS.

From W:c:answers:MediaWiki:Wikia.css:

/* This removes the lists of pages in a category, so that they can be replaced with a template (to work around a bug). */
#mw-pages {
 display:none;
}

#mw-subcategories {
 display:none;
}

Oh, thanks! I looked around your common.js and didn't see anything in particular about it. I was looking in the wrong place. ^^"

If any of you are currently using this code on your wikis, you may want to know that it's currently broken as of this Wednesday's tech update. CzechOut, Rappy and Kirkburn have fixed the code as displayed on DWA though, so if you want to be able to use what works or just want to know what went wrong, see this discussion thread here.
